Attribute types

This page is for administrators: the operations described require access to the administration area.

An attribute's type determines what it contains. You select it in Attribute type when creating the attribute, and you cannot change it afterwards. Types appear in the menu under their technical names, in alphabetical order.

Each type has its own page, which you can open by clicking its name in the tables. It describes how to fill in the attribute on the product page, its configuration options, search filter, Excel columns and validation checks.
