How to assign a media asset to one or more workspaces

Add a media asset to a workspace or remove it from one on the asset's details page.

To change a media asset's workspaces, you need permission to change media workspaces, as well as edit permissions for the asset and the workspace. Without these permissions, you can only view the asset's workspaces.

  1. Open the media asset's details page.
  2. In the Workspaces section, check the highlighted workspaces: these are the ones the asset belongs to.
  3. Click a workspace that is not highlighted to add the asset to it, or a highlighted workspace to remove the asset from it.
  4. If a window appears listing the attributes from which the asset will be removed, review the list and click Remove and change workspace, or Cancel to cancel.

You cannot change a disabled workspace: hover over it to see why.
