How to configure download formats and crop ratios

This page is for administrators: the steps described require access to the administration area.

Configure image download formats and crop ratios.

Create a download format

  1. In the menu, select Admin, then Media renditions.
  2. On the Output tab, click New rendition.
  3. Fill in the fields:
    • Name: appears in the download menu and is added to the file name;
    • Format: Original, PNG or JPG;
    • Mode: Fit (never larger than the size) or Pad (exact size, white borders);
    • Width (px) and Height (px): with Fit (never larger than the size), you can leave one of these blank; with Pad (exact size, white borders), both are required;
    • Sort order: the position in the menu.
  4. Click Save.

The format appears in the image download menus.

Create a crop ratio

  1. On the Crop tab, click New crop ratio.
  2. Fill in Name, Ratio width and Ratio height, for example 16 and 9.
  3. Click Save.

Delete a format or ratio

In the row for the format or ratio, click the Delete icon.
