How to create and download a crop

Save a named area of an image and download it whenever you need it.

Create a crop

New crop only appears if you can edit the media and openlane has detected the image dimensions, a few moments after upload.

  1. Open the image details.
  2. In the Crops section, click New crop.
  3. Above the image, select an aspect ratio, or select Free to draw without constraints.
  4. Draw the rectangle with your mouse.
  5. In Name, enter a name for the crop.
  6. Click Save crop.

The crop appears in the Crops section.

Download a crop

  1. In the Crops section, click the Download icon next to the crop.
  2. Select Original crop to download the crop in its original form, or select one of the download formats.

You can also download crops from the Crops section in the media preview.
