How to start or restart a workflow for a media item

Start a review of a media item, or restart it from the first step.

Start a workflow

1. Open the media item's details and the tab containing the Workflow attribute.
2. Click Start workflow.
3. In Workflow, select a workflow. Below each workflow, you can see the workspaces it will allow the media item to enter.
4. Click Start.

You can also start a workflow when uploading files from the library, using Workflow (optional).

Restart a workflow

1. In the Workflow attribute, click the Restart workflow icon next to the workflow.
2. Click Restart to confirm.

The workflow restarts from the first step. Previous decisions remain in the history, and the media item remains assigned to its workspaces during the new review.
