What you can do with a media asset

| Edit a media attribute (add, remove, reorder) | View & download on all the attribute's workspaces; for an attribute with no workspace, All workspaces |
| Select an existing media asset from the library in a media attribute | Permission to edit the attribute; no permission required on the media asset |
| Upload a file or add a video from a product's media attribute | Permission to edit the attribute, and Edit on All or All - My Uploads in both the intake workspace and the attribute's workspace where the media asset is created |
| Edit data, create and edit crops | Edit at a level that includes the media asset |
| Add or remove a workspace | Can change media workspace, Edit on the media asset and Edit on the workspace being added or removed |
| Delete | Delete at a level that includes the media asset; the media asset must not be used by any record |
