How to define the tech specs for an attribute set

This page is intended for administrators: the steps described require access to the administration area.

Choose which tech specs appear on products in an attribute set and in what order. You need access to the Attributes administration area.

The page only shows entity types with Has Tech Specs enabled and only offers existing tech specs: attributes of type Tech.Spec..

From the menu, select Admin, then Tech specs.
Under Entity, select the entity type.
On the Attribute sets tab, select the attribute set. For media, the tab is called Types and you select the media type.
To add a tech spec, click Add new, select the tech spec under Tech specs and click Confirm. The tech spec is added immediately at the bottom of the list.
To remove a tech spec, click Remove in its row and confirm. The tech spec is removed from the attribute set immediately; it remains available for other attribute sets.
To change the order, drag the rows into the positions you want, then click Save.

Additions and removals are saved immediately; the new order is only saved when you click Save. If you switch attribute sets with unsaved changes to the order, openlane asks you to confirm.
